Comments from the artists that have participated in AITP!...

"I just want to say again "Thanks" for running such a wonderful, relaxing show  - Art in the Park.   I once again - as a participating vendor - greatly appreciate the cheerfulness of your volunteers, always friendly and certainly very helpful.  As well, I thank you for providing the close parking (that is very welcome - thanks) and good booth spacing, giving us all enough room to put up our tents, and space between, not right on top the other, tent pole to tent pole.  And I always thank you for sending out the booth space and parking space information in advance of the show date.  That way, even if we get to the park early, we can start setting up immediately.  Thank you -- I really appreciate all the effort that your volunteers put into the success of this art show.  Thanks.

PS - the brownies in the morning were very good!..."

Founded in 1947 as the Geneva Lake Art Association, the organization formed for the purpose of encouraging individual artistic growth and excellence.

In 2014, the Geneva Lake Arts Foundation, Inc. was granted a 501c3 charitable organization status and continues the mission of its original association to foster a community appreciation of the fine arts through the arrangement of shows, monthly programs, lectures, demonstrations and workshops.

GLAF is a volunteer organization under the direction of an elected board of directors. They support and encourage all forms of art and cultural activities. Funding comes from membership dues, gallery fees, sponsors, fund-raisers and the proceeds from our annual Art in the Park, an outdoor, juried fine art show.

The Geneva Lake Arts Foundation Gallery features the art work of its member artists as well as the art of invited artists. Eligible GLAF members may display work in our member gallery shows, and after a six-month wait, in our GLAF Member’s Tent at our annual Art in the Park juried art show.

GLAF fosters a community awareness and appreciation of the fine arts through the arrangement of shows, monthly programs, lectures, demonstrations and workshops. Membership is open to anyone interested in the arts. GLAF sponsors one of the largest cultural community events annually; the annual fine art show, Art In The Park. The GLAF Gallery, located at 223 Broad Street in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, features a member gallery and weekly classes. Monthly meetings, open to the public free of charge, are held where artists can interact, learn new techniques, and make connections.  For additional information, please visit our website at or leave a message at 262-249-7988.
