Lisa Dukowitz currently lives in Wheatland, Wisconsin on ten acres of heavily wooded land. She grew up in Kenosha County and spent a great deal of time on Lake Michigan with her father which instilled a strong veneration for the Great Lakes. Lisa’s natural talent for drawing became evident at an early age. She earned her MFA from the UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts in Painting and Drawing and studied printmaking abroad in Florence, Italy. She was an art educator for twenty one years for upper level high school and college students. She has exhibited in a variety of public art events, juried regional exhibitions and Midwest travel publications.
