CLASS DESCRIPTION:
In this class you will have the opportunity to make 6-8 necklaces and/or earrings. You choose to work in stoneware (which will turn out to be a reddish brown), porcelain *which will turn out as a glossy white), or both! You will form your clay jewelry using molds and stamps. All items need to be fired off-site and will be ready for pick-up at Gallery 223 in 2-3 weeks. You are sure to be pleased with your personally designed pieces.
SUPPLIES NEEDED All tools, clay and supplies included. No previous experience required.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Carmen Bond has been teaching ceramics and sculpture at Mt. Mary University since 2008. She has exhibited her work in dozens of regional and national shows as well as internationally in Switzerland and England. Her work has been written about in the Shepherd Express, The Tohon Chul Park News (Tucson, AZ) and The Golden Thread Project (West Hartford, CT). Some of her sculptural pieces are in collections at the Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
No refunds will be issued for no shows.
No refunds will be issued for dropping the workshop during the presentation.
No refunds for cancellations one week prior to class unless approved.
Approved cancellations will incur a $10 processing fee.
If the workshop is cancelled due to the instructor, or GLAF, a full refund with no cancellation fee will be issued.
